| Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority has committed to a capital improvement program to update aging parking facilities, including the New Carrollton Metro Garage. Metro’s parking improvement projects include major concrete garage replacements and repair work to support its vision to be the region’s transportation leader in safety, reliability and affordability.
The replacement garage at the New Carrollton Station, managed by Whiting Turner and Urban Atlantic, includes over 15,000 cubic yards of concrete, 500 tons of reinforcing steel, and over 175,000 square feet of high strength toppings. |
