Guilford Park High School
Guilford Park High School is a public high school located in Jessup, MD. It is part of the Howard County Public School System. It is the largest high school ever constructed in HCPSS. The 251,600-SF educational facility followed HCPSS prototype and opened with 750 freshmen and sophomores, having a total capacity of 1,658. The campus spans 42-acres.
Guilford Park High School was completed in 2023 with a budget of $104 million. Oak Contracting provided complete Construction Management Agency Services and was honored as the Overall Building Winner by Building Congress & Exchange for exceptional work on Guilford Park High School.
A continuing emphasis on energy efficient systems and sustainability are incorporated into the design. It is the intent that the design and construction of the building achieve another LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) ‘Silver’ designation.
