Luxmanor Elementary School

The project will increase the school’s size by about 20,000 square feet and raise its capacity from 411 to 758 students. The project includes a three-story building to add 10 classrooms. The school will have about 80 parking spaces and room for nine buses in a bus loop driveway. Luxmanor was built in 1966 and underwent expansions in 1988 and 2008, according to school system documents. The project, which will add 10 classrooms, sits on about 6.5 acres according to the school system’s facilities master plan.
