In our continuing practice of job site safety, Sody Concrete recently completed participation in the Subcontractor Safety Partnership Week. Presented by Clark Construction Group, with a commitment to continuous improvement and education of safe work practices, program was designed to perform safety appraisals of subcontractors – with emphasis on traditional and non-traditional safety metrics.
The program goal was to share best practices, establish and reinforce a partnership approach with subcontractors, continue to coach and train subcontractor’s first-line supervisors to become better leaders, increase awareness and better identification of hazards, and implement proper avoidance measures to address hazards.
Sody’s willingness to participate continues to reinforce our partnership and move us towards our collective goal of creating a definable culture of safety that will stay with us through the life of Howard County Circuit Courthouse and beyond.
